Snippet | China's Moon Mission | Chang'e - 5

Reportedly, China is making history by returning rocks and dust from Moon after 44 years.
On 2nd December 2020, China's Chang'e - 5, successfully landed on the moon, making China the third country having accomplished soft landing on the surface of the moon.
China has landed it's spacecraft where no mission of any country had gone before. It has chosen an active volcanic region and the samples to be taken and returned to Earth should be 1 - 1.5 billion of years of age.
While the lander module successfully landed on the moon, the ascent module is orbiting the moon, once the sample is collected, the lander or the descent module will be launched towards the module orbiting the moon. Then they would head for planet Earth.

Let's hope the samples don't contain aliens!
