Character Correlation | Black Hawk Down

When I go home people'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? What, you some kinda war junkie?" You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is. #BlackHawkDown (2001)

I'm a pacifist, but I'm obssesed about films based on wars, especially world war II. Ironic, isn't? The rationale is innumerable and incomprehensible. One of the reasons though is, authentic human emotions, either humane or inhumane are only exhibited at wars. Most importantly, I admire the brotherhood among soldiers irrespective of their geographical divide.Today, i'd attribute my obsession to the above quote from #RidleyScott's masterpiece 'Black Hawk Down'.
Having said that, I will keep sharing only the quotes that profoundly impacted me, they are neither inspirational nor emotional, but nihilistic.
