Disruptors: James Clerk Maxwell

Respect. We must spend at least a minute in honoring the physicists, whose findings made breakthrough in our lives. 

Electromagnetism is considered to be one of the fundamental forces of the universe, similar to gravitational forces. Earlier, electricity and magnetism were considered to be separate. Until, James Clerk Maxwell and fellow physicists mathematically formulated the unified phenomenon of electricity and magnetism, leading to 'Electromagnetism'. All electrical appliances, gadgets, motors, spacecrafts and innumerable human intervened inventions and natural phenomenon such as the 'light' is governed by the electromagnetic principles. 

Electromagnetic theory is one of the profound findings in the history of physics. 

James Clerk Maxwell was born 189 years ago today.
