Character Study: Creation of Criminal Science

Character Study:  Creation of Criminal Science

"You see, Bill, I knew a week before she died I was gonna kill her. ..."

He is adept at reading the minds, not of the ordinary, but the extremely violent crime offenders. As a pre-emptive measure, he intends on profiling their psychological characteristics, which would act as an antecedent in possibly preventing such crimes in future. His methods of discussions are unorthodox and discomforting, which help him to accomplish his intent, but at the price of disrupting his life.

“As an actor, you have to be willing to go to the darkest corners.”
Cameron Britton transforms into disturbed killer Ed Kemper.
-----------------------------------
This character and the actor made a profound impact on my conscience. This is how actors must be. I would expect actors to be the character in the reality as well. It doesn't necessarily mean that they have to commit crimes, but mentally exist the character. I don't like actors resuming their flamboyant life after completion of a film or a character. I don't see it as a commitment to the character. Actors must never have their real identity. Their identity is the characters.

Character (Real Person): #EdmundKemper
Actor who played the character: #CameronBritton for #MindHunter (2017)
Remember this character study doesn't actually study the character, but briefly recognizes the commitment of the actor.

This blog is the first chapter of the series, the second chapter is yet to be introspected, and it will be done in the near future, which would be published here as a continuity.
