Asteroids, Creators of Life?
When the Earth formed, it was mainly composed of hydrogen and carbon dioxide, not suitable for life forms as we know to thrive. Scientists are of the view that asteroids brought other elements to earth, possibly life. They also brought destruction. I share their viewpoints. What is the relevance of talking about it today? Because, June 30th of every year is considered to be Asteroid Day.
Why is it called so?
Today June 30 2020 is Asteroid Day, which is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn about asteroids, the impact or hazard they may pose, and what we can do to protect our planet, families, communities, and future generations from future asteroid impacts. Asteroid Day is held each year on the anniversary of the largest impact in recent history, the 1908 Tunguska event in Siberia.

It's been theorized that asteriods brought water, organic and hazardous elements, most importantly, life, not only to earth, but other planets of solar system. I think the probabilities are higher. Besides, scientific studies of asteroids suggest that elements available in earth are what most of asteroids are composed of.
