I'm God if I can attain Light Speed!
While the physics that we know, forbids time travelling into the past and the future, I'm in possession of a tool that allows me to do so. Imagination.
Everything will change. Everything we know and don't will change. The reality we exist in will hold no relevance. The very beginnings and ends of the cosmos can be explored. When I can or anyone can attain the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second, which is forbidden by physics. This thought occurs to me every night I gaze the darkness of the universe and its stars. I happened to photograph a star couple of days ago, which appeared to be so close to Earth, within the reach of my hands, yet I'm not even able to defy Earth's gravity or attain escape velocity of 7 miles per second. When will I become a #spacefarer for real?
We don't see the present of the universe, but the past. It's attributed to the vastness of space and speed of light. Even though, light could travel at tremendous speed of 186,000 miles/second, because of the fact that space is incredibly humongous, it takes time. Sometimes billions of years, for the light emitted somewhere in space to reach earth. Even the light from Sun takes about 8 minutes to reach us.
I'm no physicist but curious of space as much as you do.
Why we humans and human made object can't travel at or faster than the speed of light (186,000 miles per second)?
For the simple reason that an infinite amount of energy or force is required. To move an object from rest to motion, a force is required. Force is the function of mass of the object and the acceleration applied to it. To produce an infinite amount of energy an infinite mass is required. Do we have the capacity yet to produce an infinite mass? I doubt. That's what Albert Einstein predicted in his relativity equation; E = MC², where E is energy, M is Mass & C is the speed of light.
'As an object approaches the speed of light, its mass rises ever more quickly, so it takes more and more energy to speed it up further. It can in fact never reach the speed of light because by then its mass would have become infinite, and by the equivalence of mass and energy, it would have taken an infinite amount of energy to get it there. For this reason, any normal object is forever confined by relativity to move at speeds slower than the speed of light. Only light or other waves that have no intrinsic mass, can move at the speed of light.' Stephen Hawking - A Brief History Of Time.

Albert Einstein's handwritten letter to a physicist who dismissed the relativity theory, which was recently auctioned for millions of dollars:
"It explains the interchangeability of energy and mass when a body moves at the speed of light. The equation - energy equals mass times the speed of light squared - is a fundamental concept in modern physics.", says BBC News
Travelling backwards in time is a possibility, if you can manage to stay near the event horizon of a massive black hole. If you are intrigued to know how, do access the comment section.
Let's presume that person A is capable of travelling at the speed of light with a spaceship strong enough to reach the event horizon of a black hole and withstand it's gravitational pull. We all are aware of the physics, rather Einstein's relativity theory, that time is relative and it works differently for different parts of the universe, especially time runs slow near or at black hole. So, person A stays near the event horizon for a particular period of time. Let's say a weak. Because of the physics - relativity theory, that time runs slow for person A, when that person comes back to planet Earth, everyone else except that person would have biologically aged. Because time ran fast on planet Earth in comparison to person A's time at event horizon. Therefore, my argument is that what Person A witnesses on their return to planet Earth is their biological past as that person has barely aged. I don't have mathematical equations to support my idea. And I don't think its required as physics shouldn't solely be dependent on confirming to equations but ideas. I remember reading that when Albert Einstein was asked about the source of his wisdom, he apparently said, its just occurs to me.
Prof. #StephenHawking's final paper submitted ten days before his biological death, suggests that parallel universes exist. The origin big bang not only created the universe we exist, but gave birth to many. The paper has been theoretically validated by physicists. If I can travel at the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second, I'd flee to universes free of humanity as I'm not mentally one among them.
Voyager2 had exited the solar system. Ok, what does it actually mean?
And, where is it now?
Let me not directly answer these questions.
Instead, if you can travel at the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second, which is forbidden by the physics we know, it would take about 16 hours to reach Voyager 2. Now, can you imagine the distance it has travelled or let me put it this way, that big is just our solar system. Our host, '#MilkyWay' galaxy comprises of millions of such star systems like the solar system. Only the observable universe comprises of billions of galaxies. It is reported that a significant portion of the universe is not yet observed by powerful telescopes like '#Hubble'.
Why am I saying all of this?
The reality we perceive to exist, doesn't hold any relevance in the context of space. Therefore, i'm a nihilist or metaphysical.
Mysterious architectures of our universe:
Exhibit 1| The Earth seen from the moon:
Astronomers measure distances by the time it takes light to travel across them. The light captured in this image of the Earth took about 1.3 seconds to travel to the Apollo astronauts holding the camera, so astronomers say the moon is 1.3 light seconds away. We must move outward to larger realms to find the cosmic web of galaxies.
